Meet Our Tutor – Steve Turner
My name is Steve Turner and I am the founder of Turners Maths & English and an experienced educator dedicated to helping students achieve success in their GCSE studies. With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds, developing effective methods that build confidence, improve understanding, and delivering real academic results.
Throughout my career, I have gained valuable international teaching experience, including seven years working in China and educational journeys across more than 35 countries worldwide. These experiences allowed me to explore innovative teaching approaches, modern classroom technologies, and student-focused learning methods used in education systems around the globe.
Inspired by these global insights, I established Turners Maths & English to provide students with flexible, personalised learning support outside the traditional classroom. The tutoring programs focus on small group and one-to-one online lessons across Maths, English, & Science, ensuring every student receives the attention they need to succeed.
By combining proven international teaching practices with a supportive and structured learning environment, my mission is to equip students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to excel in their GCSE exams and beyond.
